Director Simon Dean is responsible for Health and Safety. Together with dedicated H&S Manager Luke Nuttall they are the driving force behind the Company’s policy, actively ensuring that our staff are fully trained to industry standards, that our sites are safe working environments and that all the H&S documentation on site is maintained.
Through training and certification, weekly toolbox talks and competent supervision which constantly monitors work processes, we offer operatives a safe working environment and a comprehensive and informative H&S structure with the aim of 0 RIDDOR Reportable incidents and 0 accidents.
100% CSCS certified operatives and supervision
Northfield boasts 100% CSCS certified operatives and supervision, and 100% certified plant operatives. In addition, at Northfield we work closely with all Clients to ensure client-specific H&S policies are adhered to.
Birkwood Plant (Wakefield), Bobby Beverage (Sheffield), VHS Training (Scunthorpe) and C & G Assessments (Sheffield) are some of the training companies which partner Northfield in achieving 100% compliance.
At Northfield Construction Ltd, we recently received a prestigious Contractor Award from Galliford Try, and 3 Health & Safety awards from Morgan Sindall (2 awards as Best Contractor on Site and another as Best Regional Contractor).
